Barn house 4 contains authentic elements. This house is country and tastefully decorated.
This holiday home is also suitable for people with disabilities. On the ground floor is the kitchen and living room with patio doors. In addition, there is a bedroom and a bathroom with adapted toilet, spacious shower, wall brackets and a shower chair. The first floor has underfloor heating throughout.
The stairs take you to the first floor with a double bedroom and an extra bathroom with shower and toilet. In the bedroom there is a loft with two more beds.
All our holiday homes are pet-free, and we do not allow pets in this holiday home either.
Location/situation
The barn house stands out because of the large window at the front. The old barn doors have been replaced by glass, which provides a lot of light in the house. Through the patio doors you have an unobstructed view of the countryside. The barn house has a private terrace at the rear that borders a grassy field.
In Domburg you can go to the beach with a beach wheelchair. This is free to use but must be reserved in advance via 0118-582377. There will also be a mobimat, which makes it easier for the beach wheelchair to roll over the beach. More information can be found on the website of beach development Walcheren (information about the wheelchairs and mobimat can be found at the bottom of the page). The beach crossing in Domburg is wheelchair-friendly and has a disabled parking space and wheelchair-friendly toilet.
In Vlissingen, a 23-minute drive away, there is a wheelchair ramp that is accessible all year round. You then have access, via duckboards, to the beach pavilion. In the summer months (June, July, August, September) there is also a mat that you can use to get halfway to the beach with a beach wheelchair (you can reserve this beach wheelchair at Pier 7, use is free). You can then drive to the sea, but this is more difficult without the mat. It is advisable to inquire in advance whether the mat is available and to reserve the wheelchair. We cannot guarantee this.
The beach of Domburg is just a two-minute walk from this house. The centre of Domburg is only an 8-minute bike ride away (4 minutes by car). By bike you can reach the characteristic Zeedijk near Westkapelle within 13 minutes (5 minutes by car).

No pets are allowed in the vacation rental. There is no television. The washing machine is for shared use and is located in the barn. Beds are single beds and measure 90 x 200 cm. You can always rent bedding from us. The cost is 12.00 euros per package. If you wish to rent linens, we ask that you indicate this when you make your reservation.
